Perhaps our finest piece yet is a faithful reproduction of a late
eighteenth century Simon Willard Tall Case Clock made in Roxbury,
Massachusetts The case includes all the features of Willards
masterpiece, including the molded tombstone waist door , brass stop
fluting and detailed fretwork on the bonnet.
The hand painted face behind the restoration glass is one of the
most elaborate we encountered in our research and is equal to the case in
its faithful execution. The eight day solid brass movement features hand
cast weights, hand filed hands and the traditional moon phase dial.
